★★★☆☆

EDIT 08/29/2020: I recently learned of allegations against Tyson that he drugged and sexually assaulted a fellow graduate student who dropped out of astrophysics and has been speaking out about her experience since 2010. Believe survivors.

What it says on the can - a very short, high school level (I assume) science book on astrophysics. I expected some more self-inserts from Tyson but he doesn’t even mention his own contributions to the demotion of Pluto as a planet. It really is just a book about science lol. Didn’t really tickle my feathers, and for folks who have even a basic grasp of astrophysics I can imagine this would be exceedingly boring and unhelpful. As a non-science-y person I appreciated the quick zip of astro-science although I will definitely not retain much I didn’t already know. Listened to the audiobook in a day (it was only 3hrs 44min long and I put it on 1.75 speed).
